This Week In SCOV

February 8, 2024

Association News

Did you know that the Copper Center lawsuit has been settled and our insurance deductible covered the cost of our litigation defense? Our insurance has also covered any other costs associated with the lawsuit.

Did you know that no special assessments are planned for The Copper Center at this time, or for any other projects in SCOV? The building was purchased without a special assessment and will be maintained through our operational funds.

New SCOV Survey Report: Report 3 summarizes the comments received from the fill-in-the-blank question about future amenities, programs, or changes. It also shows a comparison of 2023 and 2018 survey results. Survey Report 1 shows an overview, and Survey Report 2 shows results for each amenity and building. Long Range Planning Committee (LRPC) is using Resident survey responses to update the 10-year rolling Development Plan. Click here to see the Reports.

“SCOV Meet Yourself” SCOV residents set these priorities for new amenities in the 2023 Survey: 1. exercise pool, 2. leisure pool, 3. walking paths on sidewalks, 4. social gathering spaces, 5. expanded artisan studios, 6. expanded welcome center, 7. pickleball courts, 8. demonstration kitchen, and 9. sauna (dry).
