Several of the Waltham Group programs will share how extreme weather events exacerbated by climate change, specifically flooding, is detrimental to community wellness. We invite you to join our discussion and learn what YOU can do to remediate these weather impacts!

Smalltalk will be a casual and fun chance to create great conversations, be inspired, and have fun. This semester smalltalk will be held virtually on 4/8 at 8 pm. The TED Talk and discussion topic are TBD but the snacks and goodie bags are a guarantee. Sign up here to get the zoom link and a FREE GOODIE BAG!
Defining Service Student Focus Groups
The Department of Community Service (DCS) invites all undergraduate students to join us in a discussion of how Brandeis measures, tracks, and rewards your community engagement work. Your input will have a direct impact on the new service tracking platform as well as other departmental policies. All participants of either the focus group or the survey will be entered to win one of four $20 Amazon gift cards.

Please join us at one of the following focus group sessions. If you are unable to attend, please complete this 10-minute survey and have your voice heard.

Friday, April 9 from 1-2pm (EST) Register here.
Friday, April 16 from 3-4pm (EST) Register here.

As a student and community member, your views, experiences, and feedback are extremely important. These focus groups are part of a larger effort to align the Commitment to Service Award (CTSA) program with the multiplicity of students’ community engagement activities and the DCS’s commitment to increasing the accessibility and recognition of diverse service experiences for BIPOC students on our campus.

If you have any questions about the focus groups or the Commitment to Service Award (CTSA) program, please email Moriah King or Samantha De Melim. We look forward to having these meaningful and important conversations with you all.
