Apply to be a Volunteer Coordinator for Spring Wellness Drive!
We are looking for new volunteer coordinators for this semester’s Spring Wellness Drive! The drive conducts a community-wide event that collects food, clothing, and/or personal care products (items like soap, razors, tampons, etc.) for those experiencing poverty in Waltham and the Greater Boston Area.The drive coordinators will help over the course of a month in creating this event!

Join Waltham Group's Community Connections at Plympton Family Night 2020! Plympton Family Night is a carnival style event for the families at Plympton Elementary School. In the past, different Brandeis clubs have come and each run a different activity, game or craft with the kids. We also welcome single volunteers, as we always need more hands to help!
PAID Community Engagement Ambassador in Department of Community Service
As part of a prestigious leadership cohort, four selected Community Engagement Ambassadors will work with Department of Community Service staff to build the capacity of all Brandeis community service clubs and will receive $12.75 per hour ($2,000 for the academic year). Ambassadors will be challenged to think creatively about ways to engage Brandeis students from all backgrounds in community service initiatives, to engage in strategic planning that supports community engagement, and to learn new leadership skills, including project management systems and tools that increase effectiveness in groups. Learn more by visiting the DCS  website here The application deadline is Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 11:59pm. Questions? Still looking for a way to complete another PE/HWL credit? Interested in learning how to save a life? Need CPR (re)certification for a job? Only want to spend 5 hours to do all of this? Well you're in luck, there are still open spots in the spring community CPR with BEMCo! You can find the sign up link to reserve your spot in the remaining classes this semester below. Along with BeWiSE and Neuro UDRs, we will be hosting a panel of Brandeis female alumni to talk about the ups and downs of their careers in various STEM fields. These women have experiences in PhD, medicine, clinical and pharmaceutical research, computer science and more. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what you can do with your STEM degree after graduation and to get advice from the panelists!

Join an exciting team working to elect a Democrat to Congress in NY-17. We're looking for a group of college interns to be a part of an intensive field program in Westchester and Rockland Counties. In-person and remote positions are available.

No prior campaign experience necessary, open to entry-level candidates with enthusiasm to work on an exciting campaign!
Strong interpersonal and communications skills are necessary

The United Nations Academic Impact and MCN proudly present the Millennium Fellowship . This program convenes, challenges, and celebrates bold student leadership advancing the Sustainable Development Goals on campus and in communities. As a Millennium Fellow, you will hone skills, take concrete action, and earn a certificate of recognition from United Nations Academic Impact and MCN. There is no cost for selected students.

Undergraduate leaders should apply as soon as possible (rolling admissions through April 30th with early applications strongly encouraged, Class of 2020 will run August-December 2020).
WGBH Day of Exploration

The event allows children to journey throughout the studio while discovering new realms of music, science, art, engineering, and much more! Volunteers will help families adventure through the event space and run educational activities, greet guests, and serve refreshments.

Girl Scout Troop Seeking Leaders

Girl Scout troop 65364 is looking for a strong, female-identifying leader to join our Girl Scout leadership team this fall and spring!
We work with eighth grade girls from Waltham, engaging them in activities to earn different kinds of badges, and encouraging them to develop strong leadership skills themselves. (Also there are Girl Scout cookies involved, so there's that)
If you're interested, please fill out this application by March 13, 2020! Our new hire will be joining our troop this semester. ***P.S.- You do not need to have been a Girl Scout when you were younger in order to join our team! You only need to have a passion for female empowerment.

Program Coordinator position at the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce is seeking a program coordinator to support and bring their own creative ideas to Chamber programs – both as part of the programs team and as the manager of their own portfolio of events. Requirements include being a person who is constantly curious to learn more and try new things. Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines. Candidates should have an Bachelor’s degree with transferrable skills, or 4-6 years of professional experience in event planning and/or customer service.

Suitable for Brandeis seniors, grad students, and recent grads who are interested in promoting social justice within the business and government space in Boston .

Gore Place is seeking volunteers to help with the 33rd Sheep Shearing Festival on Saturday April 25th. The event brings thousands of visitors to the property over the course of the day so there are many areas to cover during the festival. If interested, fill out the volunteer form h ere and arrange an in person interview at the museum for more details. Gore Place Sheep Shearing Festival Tasks Available: Wagon ride assistant, Education tent assistant, Volunteer lounge assistant, West entry volunteer, and East Door Cashier.
