Now Through September 30 / The Parke Community Garage Sale Registration
The Parke community's fall garage sale will be held on Saturday, October 5 from 7:30 a.m.-noon with a rain date planned for Sunday, October 6. To participate, registration is required at the Clubhouse. A $1 fee is required to cover the cost of maps and signs posted throughout the community. The Parke HOA rules state that anyone moving in or out may conduct an individual garage sale. For all other residents, you may participate in the community's semi-annual garage sales. September 4 - Ravens Roost #44 Bar-Hop Cruise / 5:45-10:30 p.m.
Money raised will support Atlantic General Hospital's Penguin Swim. The cruise will leave from MR Ducks, which will feature happy hour prices on food and drinks until 6 p.m. Cash bar on boat with $3 beer, $5 wine and $5 mixed drinks. The cost is $35 per person, which includes boat ride, happy hour prices on select food and drinks, plus five raffle tickets for prizes drawn at each stop. Limited to 65 people. The first gathering of the Ocean Pines Women's Club's new membership year will be held at the Community Center. The program of almost two dozen songs includes Academy Award-winning songs "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," "Hakuna Matata" and "Circle of Life" from "The Lion King" and favorites such as "Rocket Man," "Yellow Brick Road" and "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart." United Methodist Men will host a crab feast fundraiser at Hooper's Crab House.
