Pine'eer Artisan Gift Shop
The Pine’eer Artisan Craft and Gift Shop is always seeking new crafters. If you are an artisan who would like to join, contact Sharon or email opcraftclub@aol.com for more information. All new crafters must go through the juried process, and when items sell, profits return to the community. Since its inception, the craft club has donated $175,000 back to Ocean Pines and has been handcrafting in the community for more than 40 years. The gift shop is open Saturdays 8 a.m.-3 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Community Church at Ocean Pines Shepherd's Nook, Angels' Attic, and Sarah's Pantry
The Shepherd's Nook and the newly named Angels' Attic (formerly the Flea Market), thrift stores at the Community Church at Ocean Pines, offer gently used (and some new) clothing and household goods at greatly reduced prices. Funds raised are used for the missions of the church. The schedule for the Shepherd's Nook and the Angels' Attic is Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The church also supplies food to the community through Sarah's Pantry. Second and Fourth Thursday of Every Month: MAC Alzheimer's/Related Dementia Caregivers Support Group / 3-4:30 p.m.

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: Ocean Pines Line Dancing
Line dancing has returned to the Ocean Pines Community Center gym. Beginner classes are offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30-10:30 a.m.; beginner/intermediate classes are held Fridays from 9:30-11 a.m. All are invited, and no experience is needed - just bring comfortable shoes and a smile. Mondays: Delmarva Chorus / 6-8 p.m.
The Delmarva Chorus, a chapter under the Sweet Adelines International and under the direction of Carol Ludwig, practices every Monday at the Ocean Pines Community Center from 6 to 8 p.m. The Chorus accepts all women who love to sing, laugh and make new friends. Members entertain at civic events, charitable functions and participate in many other activities such as ways-and-means projects and social events. Other activities include Memorial/Veterans Day performances at the Worcester County Veterans Memorial at Ocean Pines, an annual American Legion convention performance in July, and the Delmarva Chorus annual fundraiser event. Tuesdays: Beach Heroes Trash and Litter Clean Up / 9-10 a.m.
This volunteer group is dedicated to cleaning up Ocean City. Events are kid-friendly. Trash bags, gloves and loaner grippers are provided. Join the group on Facebook at Beach Heroes-OC for future times, dates and locations. All are welcome. Donations of 13-gallon biodegradable trash bags and grippers are gladly accepted.

Wednesdays: Kiwanis Club / 8 a.m.
Weekly meetings are held in the Assateague Room of the Ocean Pines Community Center. Try a free Platform, Spec or Timeless Tennis lesson at the platform tennis courts at the Ocean Pines Racquet Center. Platform (paddle) tennis is played year-round and has elements of tennis and racquetball. The fenced court is 1/3 the size of a tennis court. March 7, 8, 9: U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Safe Boating Class / 6-9 p.m.
The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary will teach the state-mandated Recreational Safe Boating Course virtually from 6-9 p.m. Time has been reserved on the third night in case it is needed for additional class material. Otherwise, it will be used to take the test online at your residence. Discussions include local water knowledge, piloting, knots, boating terms, trailering, maintenance and more. The class will also be offered at the Ocean Pines library April 11-13, June 6-8, July 11-13 and Sept. 12-14. One-day classes will be held at the Ocean Pines library May 6 and Aug. 5, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Additional virtual sessions will be held Oct. 10-12 and Nov. 14-16. The cost is $20. The guest speaker at this monthly meeting, held at the Ocean Pines Community Center, will be Maureen Kennedy from My Backyard. She will speak about hummingbirds and other invited backyard birds including how to draw the hummers and others to our yards, what foods for them are special treats and how to keep them around until their next migration. March 11: Ocean Pines Anglers Club / 9:30 a.m.
The speaker at this month's meeting, held at the Ocean Pines library, will be Don Pino from Hook Optics by An Optical Galleria, a shop that specializes in premium specialized sunglasses. He will discuss how to protect your eyes on the water. Members of the Anglers Club will also be conducting a seminar on trout fishing. All are welcome.
March 15-16: Ocean Pines Players Auditions for 'Love Letters' / 6-8 p.m.
The Ocean Pines Players is seeking one female and one male (ages 40+) for its May 19-20 performance of "Love Letters," a unique and imaginative theater piece comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. Auditions will be held at the Ocean Pines Community Center and consist of cold reading a script. No appointment is required.
March 23: Republican Women of Worcester County Card and Game Party Luncheon / 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines - Ocean City will host a social night at Don's Seafood & Chop House instead of its normal 8 a.m. meeting as March 29 is the fifth Wednesday of the month. Socialize with Kiwanis members. Drinks and food are not provided, but are available for purchase.
April 22: Ocean Pines Anglers Club Fishing Flea Market / 7 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Buy and sell fishing and boating items at this sale, held at the Ocean Pines South Gate pond area. The event will also feature a 50/50 raffle and Chinese auction. April 29: Wor. Co. Republican Central Committee "Character Matters" / 3-6 p.m.
The Worcester County Republican Central Committee will present “Character Matters” with guest speaker former USMC Lt. Col. Stuart Sheller, who served in Afghanistan and is the author of “Crisis of Command: How We Lost Trust and Confidence in America’s Generals and Politicians.” The event will be held at the Ocean City Golf Club located at 11401 Country Club Drive in Berlin.
