Ocean Pines Leaf Collection Begins Today
Ocean Pines Public Works will collect leaves and other yard debris from Nov. 25 through Dec. 20. The yard will be open Nov. 25 through Dec. 20, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Read more.

Ocean Pines Offices Closed
The Ocean Pines Administration Building, Community Center and Public Works will be closed Nov. 28-29 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The Sports Core Pool will close at 2 p.m. on Nov. 27 will be closed all day on Nov. 28 only.

Second Monday Of Month - Ocean Pines Camera Club
7 p.m. Ocean Pines branch library. Monthly get-together to share photos, tips, programs. Group goes on a photo shoot the Saturday following meeting and hosts a hands-on workshop the last Thursday of each month. Professional and amateur photographers and new members welcome.

Every Wednesday - Bridge Game Time

Every Wednesday - Quilters by the Sea
Quilters by the Sea meets weekly at the Ocean Pines Community Center. The first Wednesday of every month is Volunteer Day from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., the second and fourth Wednesdays are UFO Day or a workshop from 10 a.m. -3 p.m. and the third Wednesday is a business meeting from 12-3 p.m.

Every Wednesday of the Month October-May - Pine Steppers

Third Thursday of the Month - Pine'eer Craft Club
The Pine'eer Craft Club meets the third Thursday of every month at the Ocean Pines Community Center (except for December, when the installation holiday luncheon is held). Refreshments are served at 9:45 a.m.; the meeting begins at 10 a.m.

Every Friday - BINGO with the Knights of Columbus

December 2 - "Decorating the Pines" / 9 a.m.
The Ocean Pines Garden Club will meet at the Ocean Pines Community Center beginning at 9 a.m. to create wreaths, swags and other decorations to hang at the entrance of each community in Ocean Pines. The public is welcome to join in the fun! Bring gloves and clippers. Other materials will be supplied.

Through December 4 - Holiday Coat and Toy Drive
Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines-Ocean City. Donations can be made during the Kiwanis Club's weekly meetings at the Ocean Pines Community Center, held Wednesdays from 7-9 a.m. (except for November 26) through December 4. Coats will be given to St. Joseph House and St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Ocean City. New, unwrapped toys will be donated to Worcester County G.O.L.D.'s "Helping Hands for the Holidays."

December 5 - Women's Club of Ocean Pines Holiday Luncheon / 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
This year's luncheon will be held at the Dunes Manor Hotel in Ocean City. Lunch, raffles and fun. $35 per person includes entree choice (sliced sirloin of beef, breast of chicken or vegetable lasagna), dessert, beverages, tax and gratuity. December 5,6,7 - Santa's Wonderland
Sponsored by and held at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 361 Tilghman Road in Salisbury. This free family holiday event, held December 5-6 from 5-8 p.m. and December 7 from 2-6 p.m. will include a visit with Santa Claus, Christmas crafts, a Christmas movie, a story from Mrs. Claus, photo props at the Elfie Station and sweet snacks and hot chocolate. December 8 - Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert / 3 p.m.
The Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra will present "Holiday Joy: A Salute to the Great Pops Orchestras" at the Ocean City Convention Center. Performances will also be held in Easton on Dec. 6 and in Lewes on Dec. 7. Tickets may be purchased at midatlanticsymphony.org.

December 25 - N.O.E.L. Community Christmas Dinner / 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
This year's dinner will be served at St. Paul's by-the-Sea Episcopal Church on 3rd St. and Baltimore Avenue in Ocean City. All are welcome to join in the food, fellowship and fun. The N.O.E.L. ("Nothing Other than Eating and Loving") Community will serve a sit-down meal of ham, macaroni and cheese, green beans, rolls and desserts. Carry-out and local delivery will be available. January 1 - Atlantic General Hospital's 25th Annual Penguin Swim
Register and begin fundraising today! Go to AGHpenguinswim.org. Incentive prizes will be awarded based upon the teams' fundraising efforts. All money raised benefits Atlantic General Hospital.

January 2 - Women's Club of Ocean Pines
