Now Through September 30 - The Parke Community Garage Sale Registration
The Parke community's fall garage sale will be held on Saturday, October 5 from 7:30 a.m.-noon with a rain date planned for Sunday, October 6. To participate, registration is required at the Clubhouse. A $1 fee is required to cover the cost of maps and signs posted throughout the community. The Parke HOA rules state that anyone moving in or out may conduct an individual garage sale. For all other residents, you may participate in the community's semi-annual garage sales. September 11 - 9/11 Labyrinth Walk / 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
The community is invited to take this opportunity to remember and reflect upon the events of September 11, 2001 by walking the labyrinth at St. Paul's by-the-Sea, located at 3rd St. and Baltimore Avenue in Ocean City. September 12 - Ocean Pines Garden Club Meeting / 10 a.m.
Following the business meeting, the group will travel to Windmill Creek Vineyard and Winery for a talk and optional wine tasting. The Ocean Pines Garden Club meets the second Thursday of each month at the Ocean Pines Community Center. New members are welcome!

Come out to Showell Elementary School for food, games, music and a special moment of prayer just for kids at this special event sponsored by Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
September 16 - Ocean Pines Line Dancers / 9:30-10:30 a.m.

September 16 - Democratic Women's Club of Worcester County Meeting / 10 a.m.
The first fall meeting of the year will be held at the Ocean Pines Community Center. The program of almost two dozen songs includes Academy Award-winning songs "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," "Hakuna Matata" and "Circle of Life" from "The Lion King" and favorites such as "Rocket Man," "Yellow Brick Road" and "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart." September 21 - Commissioner Bertino Town Hall Meeting / 10 a.m.
Worcester County Commissioner Chip Bertino will host a town meeting at the Ocean Pines library. He will discuss issues and developments impacting the Ocean Pines district and the county.
September 21 - Worcester County Veterans Memorial "Chair of Honor" Dedication / 2 p.m.
The Worcester County Veterans Memorial Foundation at Ocean Pines will dedicate a Chair of Honor as a permanent reminder of those who were held as POWs and the 82,000 who are still missing and never returned from serving abroad on Saturday, September 21 at 2 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial. Limited seating will be available. If you know you need seating, please bring a chair. All are invited to attend.
September 25 - Blues on the Bay / 6 p.m.
This event to benefit patients in need at Coastal Hospice's Macky & Pan Stansell House will be held at Macky's Bayside Bar & Grill in Ocean City. $75 per person includes open bar, hors d'oeuvres and live music by Everett Spells. Household hazardous waste will be collected at Showell Elementary School on Racetrack Road. The Community Church at Ocean Pines' United Methodist Men will host a crab feast fundraiser at Hooper's Crab House. Featuring all-you-can-eat steamed crabs and shrimp, fried chicken, Maryland-grown corn, hush puppies, soft drinks, coffee and tea. $40 per person includes gratuity. The Delmarva Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, invites women of all ages to attend the Guest Night/Membership Drive at the Ocean Pines Community Center. The Delmarva Chorus is an extraordinary group of women who gather together in celebration of the American art form known as acapella singing in the barbershop style of harmony.
