Ongoing Inspections:

Inspectors may be in your area doing follow-up reinspections for any noted violations from Annual property reviews, addressing resident-submitted concerns, and performing resale inspections if you are selling your home.

Seasonal Yard Waste Pick-Up

Ending Next Month

The last day yard waste will be picked up is Monday, 12/22/2025. Republic services will resume picking up yard waste on Monday, March 2nd, 2026 for the season.

Yard debris is collected on Mondays only. Residents may place yard waste curbside in front of their property up to two days prior to pick-up. Please do not place items near mailboxes or on parking islands.

Yard waste does not include any materials arising from tree removal, land clearing, or development activities (i.e.- hired landscaping contractors).

Have YOU discovered the Ashburn Village Dog Park at Fincastle Field?

The dog park is a pawsitively amazing place to take your doggies!

The community dog park is a safe, fenced in area located at Fincastle Field, address 44065 Fincastle Drive. The Ashburn Village Off Leash Dog Park is a great place for your dog to run and get some exercise.

RESIDENTS: PLEASE DO NOT CUT DOWN DEAD TREES ON THE LAKESHORES

While you might think dead trees, known as snags, need to be removed, they are actually a vital part of a healthy ecosystem. Raptors and birds like this heron use snags as hunting perches; and woodpeckers, owls, squirrels, and bats use the cavities for shelter. As snags deteriorate, the soft wood attracts insects that serve as a food source for nearly 45 different types of birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. (Note: If a snag is dangerous to pedestrians, AVCA grounds crews will remove it. It is never the responsibility of residents to do so.)

This holiday weekend, Ashburn Village wants to send a note of thanks to the 100+ residents and non-residents who volunteered with our invasives removal team, AVIRT, this year.

With more than 800 volunteer hours in the community, they were able to nearly eradicate the Tree of Heaven, clear more than half of Pavilion Lake of invasive trees, and rescue dozens of native bushes. They made Ashburn Village more beautiful and restored habitat for the pollinators and wildlife with whom we share our neighborhoods. We are so grateful for you all!
