Community Standards Department | |
Did You Know? An application must be submitted if you are planning exterior modifications to your home.
If you wish to change the material, style, or color of any exterior feature, you must submit an application. Without one, a violation is possible—and we want to help you avoid that.
Examples include:
- Upgrading your deck from wood to Trex
- Changing your front door from tan to blue
- Adding hardscape to your landscaping
If you’re unsure how to submit an application, please view our helpful guide that walks you through the steps.
Important Note: If you are simply replacing with the same material or repainting in the same color, no application is needed—you may proceed without one. Thank you!
Inspections:
Inspectors may be in your area addressing resident-submitted concerns, and performing resale inspections if you are selling your home.

Our community’s Snow Removal Policy has recently been updated. We encourage all residents to review the policy to better understand the expectations for snow removal operations, including timelines, priorities, and responsibilities.
By staying informed, you’ll know exactly what to expect during winter weather events and how we work together to keep our community safe and accessible.
| |
Saftey Reminder:
Please Stay Off the Frozen Lakes
| |
For everyone’s safety, we ask all Ashburn Village residents to avoid walking, skating, or playing on the frozen lakes. While they may look solid, they are dangerous because:
- Ice thickness is unpredictable and may not support weight.
- Temperature changes cause weak spots that are hard to see.
- Snow cover can hide cracks or thin ice.
- Falling through ice can lead to hypothermia and drowning within minutes.
- Rescue efforts put others at risk as well.
Parents, please take a moment to remind your children about the importance of staying off the lakes. In past winters, concerned residents have contacted the HOA after seeing teens venture onto the ice. We want to prevent accidents and keep everyone safe.
