Reminder to Leash Your Pets

Per our Govering Documents, page 45-46 pets shall not be permitted upon the Common Area unless accompanied by someone who can control the pet and unless carried or leashed.

Loudoun County Leash Law

All dogs are required to be leashed unless they are on the owner’s property, or are in a designated space (fenced dog park). For more information about Loudoun’s animal related laws, please refer to the Loudoun County Code of Ordinances, Chapter 612.13 under Running At Large.

Also, animal complaints can be submitted to Animal Control online through Loudoun Express Request.

As summer weather comes to a end, it's a great time to enjoy "Catch and Release" fishing in Ashburn Village. Fishing is permitted between Dawn and Dusk, with a valid state fishing license. Information on Virginia fishing regulations and licenses can be found on the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries website.

Also, this is a reminder that when cleaning up after fishing, all our lakes have fishing line containers for used fishing line and hook disposal. Improperly discarded fishing line and hooks may injure wildlife. Please be a responsible fisher and place these in the containers for safe, clean disposal.

Covenant Department

Inspectors may be in your area conducting follow-up reinspections for any noted violations from Annual property reviews, addressing resident-submitted concerns, and performing resale inspections if you are selling your home.

The Lakes, Mills, and Woods outdoor pools will remain open through Sunday, September 21.

Weekend Hours Only:

🕚 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM every Saturday and Sunday throughout September.

🐶 Dog Owners - Help Us Test a New Doggy Waste Bag!

Ashburn Village is currently testing a new brand of dog waste bags—Poopy Pouches—at four of our animal waste stations, and we’d love your feedback!

These green bags are available at the following locations:

🐕 Station 1 – Off the trail near Heron Pond
🐕 Station 14 – Near the Dog Park
🐕 Station 25 – Near the Mills Recreation Center
🐕 Station 75 – Near Olive Green Court

The finance committee is charged with reviewing the community's financial position, analyzing changes in expense and revenue streams, and providing recommendations to the board.
