China and Japan Agree That Protectionist Policies Harm Everyone

Note from World Trade Center

St. Louis Sister Cities and St. Louis Mosaic Project participated in last weekend's Festival of Nations. The International Institute hosted another very successful event with upwards of 125,000 visitors, sampling food from around the world,  non-stop dance, music and arts and crafts.

Special thanks to our Sister Cities and Mosaic Project volunteers who provided information, directed activities and welcomed new arrivals to St. Louis.

Recent months have witnessed a strong debate on international trade policy, not just in the U.S., but across much of the world.

Changes stemming from Brexit, "America First" and an increasingly complex Asia-Pacific landscape call into question the very concept of globalization itself.

Growing Global 2018 will address the challenges and opportunities this presents on an ever-changing global stage with a panel of experts, all sitting ambassadors, from the region's leading trading partners.

We invite you to join us on Friday, September 21, for the region's premier event for international business. For information on sponsorship opportunities, please click here.
