WTC, Mayor Krewson & Washington University School of Medicine Visit China

Mayor Krewson, together with representatives from the St. Louis-Nanjing Sister Cities Committee and the WTC traveled to Nanjing, China last week to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the St. Louis-Nanjing sister cities relationship.

Collins and Hermann sponsored the gift of a 7-foot tall bronze statue in the likeness of Cardinals pitcher, Adam Wainwright from the city of St. Louis to Nanjing.

The group then traveled to Suzhou, where they were joined by leaders from the Washington University School of Medicine. Based upon foundational work by the WTC, the School of Medicine has formed a collaboration with China-based Huici Health Management Co. to help with physician training and the design of a new medical center - including a 1,000-bed hospital.
