World Trade Center St. Louis 2018 Highlights

World Trade Center St. Louis (WTC STL) organized and led a trade/investment delegation of 36 area business leaders to Argentina in November of 2017. The group included strong representation from St. Louis' agribusiness ecosystem including Bayer, Bunge, Benson Hill, The Yield Lab, 39N Innovation District and many more.

WTC STL hosted more than 75 international ag-tech companies, government officials and economic development partners for the inaugural STL Ag Experience on September 9. The day-long event included a tour of St. Louis and interaction with local agri-business and community leaders. The hope is that this will become an annual event led by WTC, STLP and 39N to properly host all international companies coming to the Ag Innovation Showcase.

Working with the Brookings Institution, WTC STL assisted in the local research and completion of the Brookings Case Study on St. Louis' Agriculture Technology Cluster. Brookings identified St. Louis as a location to further research the ag-tech cluster historical development, size, structure, resources and key assets.
