Rembrandt, Iowa Great Lakes Chamber join with Corridor to host local CEOs

Rembrandt Foods, the Iowa Great Lakes Chamber of Commerce and the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation assembled a group of senior business leaders Wednesday at The WaterFront in Arnolds Park to discuss collaborations to enhance the business environment in the region.
More than 15 business people participated, representing some of the largest employers in the Corridor's four-county service territory and into southern Minnesota. Rembrandt Foods Vice President of Human Resources Phillip Kassel welcomed the group on behalf of company CEO Kyle Heberle. Others to speak included Blain Andera, President of the Iowa Great Lakes Chamber of Commerce, and Corridor CEO Kiley Miller.

Arnolds Park to Have Special Queen II Cruises

Beginning June 19, the Queen II in Arnolds Park debuts a series of special cruises that will set out this summer. The schedule includes cruises with live music, cruises centered around the history of the lakes area, and special "Steve Kennedy Narration Cruises."

Fashion Show Raises $1,400 for Alzheimer's Association

The "Couture for a Cause" fashion show, held earlier this month at the Parks Boat Club at Parks Marina, raised $1,400 for the Alzheimer's Association. Organizers say the event was held in honor of June being Alzheimer's Awareness Month.
