Lakes Momentum

Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation President & CEO
Kiley Miller joined several area leaders as speakers at Northwest Bank's Lakes Momentum series Wednesday at Emerald Hills Golf Course in Arnolds Park.
The ongoing speaking series promises to offer insights on encouraging growth in area schools, businesses and communities.
Miller offered reasons for ongoing optimism in the Corridor region, including recent reports from Gallup and Bain Capital that as many as seven percent of people living in urban and suburban areas across the United States would like to relocate to rural areas such as Northwest Iowa. Emerging technologies such as autonomous vehicles, additive manufacturing and robotics will make it easier for these people to relocate by providing better jobs and amenities in lower population areas.
Other speakers Wednesday included Jason Harrington, CEO of Lakes Regional Healthcare, Josh Carr of Camp Foster, and Brad Beck of Corridor member Beck Engineering Inc., representing the Imagine Iowa Great Lakes beautification effort.
