Social justice advocate to headline Kentucky State University Heritage Assembly

Kentucky State University will look back at its past and celebrate its future Feb. 11 during its Heritage Assembly. 

Benjamin T. Jealous, president of People for the American Way (PFAW), will serve as the keynote speaker.

Kentucky State University to host annual legislative fish fry Feb. 11

The Kentucky State University College of Agriculture, Communities, and the Environment is hosting its annual legislative fish fry Thursday, Feb. 11 from noon until 2 p.m., with pick up available in the William Exum Center parking lot.    
Kentucky State University associate professor awarded research fellowship

A Kentucky State University associate professor was recently awarded the Vivian A. Ware Research Fellowship. 

Dr. TaKeia Anthony, associate professor of history at Kentucky State, was awarded the one-year, full-time research fellowship.     

Kentucky State University president appointed to SACSCOC Board of Trustees

Kentucky State University President M. Christopher Brown II was recently appointed to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) Board of Trustees.

Kentucky State University alumna appointed commander of 1792D Combat Sustainment Support Battalion

A Kentucky State University alumna was recently appointed commander of the 1792D Combat Sustainment Support Battalion. 

Lieutenant Colonel La’Shawna D. Waller is the new commander of the battalion, as she replaced outgoing commander Lieutenant Colonel Steven E. Engels in a recent change-of-command ceremony in Bowling Green.
