Kentucky State University to celebrate inaugural Atwood Day

Kentucky State University is celebrating the first observance of Atwood Day in remembrance of the late Rufus B. Atwood, the University’s ninth and longest-serving president, on Tuesday, March 27.

Christopher Brown II is the guest speaker for a memorial service commemorating the 50 th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Wednesday, April 4 at noon at St. Stephen Baptist Church in Louisville. The service is presented by Simmons College of Kentucky.
