Choral Evensong
Sunday, May 22, 4:00 pm at St. John on the Mountain

Music by Roland Martin, Judith Weir, Howard Helvey, and Charles V. Stamford.

The SJOTM Choir welcomes the Choir of St. Luke’s, Gladstone to cap off our choral season together as we sing Evensong for the Sixth Sunday of Easter, “Rogation Sunday” – the day when the church has traditionally blessed the crops.

All are invited to join the choirs to sing and pray this beautiful liturgy together where we all experience the holiness of beauty in our beloved Anglican tradition. Your neighbors and friends will be grateful for an invitation.
The Blessing of the Giving Garden at Ross Farm
Sunday, May 22, immediately following the 10 am liturgy

The people and priests of St Bernard's, St Marks and St John will gather at Ross Farm immediately after their individual 10am services on Rogation Sunday, Sunday, May 22. The garden will be blessed, refreshments will be served and beans that were potted by our church school will be planted in the garden

There is no coffee-hour on the mountain that day.

You are welcome to join others in tending the garden any Saturday, Tuesday or Thursday 9am - noon, weather permitting. One week a month, our parish is particularly responsible. The schedule for garden work will be available on our website,
Wendy and Graham Argent-Belcher Day
Sunday, June 19 following the 10 am liturgy

After months of denial and incidents of sneaking into the van to move articles back into the house, your priest must accept that Graham and Wendy have already bought a home and are moving to Massachusetts.

You are invited to an extended "coffee hour" (oh, so much more) during which we will honor their service to St John on the Mountain. Unique talents and delectable savories and sweets will be solicited. The poem is already being written. So start thinking.
