Vol. 02 | Issue 10

March 9, 2024

Hello Kristina,

As we transition into March, our focus turns to Women's History Month, a time to celebrate the notable achievements of women throughout history. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to celebrate International Women's Day with more than fifty inspiring young women from Rogers Middle School. Thank you for inviting me!

Also this month, we are excited to invite you to Make a Difference Day. Volunteers are needed for District 3 projects: Long Beach Greenbelt, 10th & Termino Greenbelt, or Long Beach Bikeway Route 10. Today is the last day to register for this opportunity to join neighbors in gardening, planting, and beautifying our community. No experience is necessary—bring your enthusiasm, and let's make a positive impact together.

As always, the 3rd District team and I are here to help. We can be reached at District3@longbeach.gov or (562) 570-6300.

Sincerely,

Kristina Duggan
