Vol. 03 | Issue 9

March 1, 2025

Hello Kristina,

Happy March! Spring is just around the corner and there are great things happening in District 3.

I'm excited to welcome two new small businesses to our area: Modern Animal, a new veterinarian clinic, and Champion’s Sōl, a new MMA Gym. Both are fantastic additions for wellness, whether it is for you or your pets.

There are also some great events coming to District 3 in the next few weeks. Today is the last day to register for the 4GIRLS 2025 Conference, don't miss out on this opportunity. Also, be sure to sign up for the free tech training session hosted by the Long Beach Workforce Innovation Network.

Submit your nominations for this year's Veterans Banner Program. This initiative honors our local veterans who have served our country. This is an opportunity to recognize their dedication and sacrifice.

As always, the District 3 team and I are here to help. You can reach us at District3@longbeach.gov or (562) 570-6300.

Sincerely,

Kristina Duggan

News & Resources

602 - No Trespassing Program

In collaboration with the Office of the City Prosecutor, the Long Beach Police Department hosted an event to facilitate enrollment in the 602 - No Trespassing Program. Enrolling in this program allows business owners and residential managers to post an approved "No Trespassing" sign, giving LBPD authority to act against trespassers without the owner present.

The District 3 team is planning to host a similar event in the near future. More details to come!
