On Tuesday, June 10, the City Council will hear the following items of interest:
Item #31: Award a contract to All American Asphalt for the Studebaker-Loynes Complete Street Project.
Item #24: Request City Manager to work with Bureau of Environmental Health, Business Licensing Division, and other applicable City staff for a Council presentation on health and food related fees and processes under the food safety programs within 120 days; and Request City Manager to work with relevant departments to research and identify options for the City to consider for streamlining and reducing fees for such programs.
Item #25: Request City Council approval of the 2025 Legislative Agenda as recommended by the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee.
Item #26: Receive and file the 2024 General Plan Implementation Report.
Item #30: Receive and file presentation for the Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operation (MEHKO) program from the Health and Human Services Department providing the result of the feasibility study; and request City Attorney to amend the Long Beach Municipal Code (LBMC) to comply with the most recently enacted state legislation regarding the MEHKO.
