June 29, 2024

Hello Kristina,

The 4th of July is just around the corner and the City of Long Beach is encouraging residents and visitors to celebrate responsibly. All personal fireworks are prohibited in the City of Long Beach. Residents can expect ongoing citywide enforcement of the City's firework ordinance.

Join me tonight at Rec Park Bandshell for Shakespeare by the Sea’s performance of Henry IV! The Long Beach Police Department is hosting a free Etch & Catch Catalytic Converter Theft Prevention Event today from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Long Beach Health Department (2525 Grand Avenue). Find details below.

City Council will be dark on Tuesday, July 2, 9, 23, and 30. The next City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 16, and you will find the agenda on the City of Long Beach website available on July 8.

As always, the District 3 team and I are here to help. You can reach us at District3@longbeach.gov or (562) 570-6300.

Sincerely,

Kristina Duggan
