Make your voice heard by voting this Election Day, Tuesday, November 5. If you're using a Vote by Mail ballot, be sure to drop it off at a ballot drop box by 8:00 pm. For information on in-person vote centers and mail drop box locations, see details below.


Don't miss the colorful Día De Los Muertos Parade from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Pine Avenue and East Third Street. Join us in this uplifting celebration of life and remembrance!


Wrap up your day by attending the Miss Southern California and Miss Long Beach Pageant from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at Bay Shore Community Congregational Church. Come cheer on the contestants and witness the announcement of the winner and first runner-up.

Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Boxes

Deadline November 5, 2024 at 8:00 pm

The Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk started distributing Vote by Mail ballots to all registered voters, which can be dropped off at various locations throughout the City. Be sure to mail your ballot by the deadline of November 5, 2024, at 8:00 pm to ensure your voice is heard.

Goblins on the Greenbelt

Families and kids had a great time trick-or-treating and decorating pumpkins at the Goblins at the Greenbelt event last weekend. Thank you to Alamitos Heights Improvement Association and Belmont Heights Community Association for this fantastic event!

Colorado Lagoon Open Channel Project

Join us this Friday, November 8, as Public Works officially opens the Eliot Street bridge pedestrian pathway! District 3 staff and I will have a booth 7:30 am to 8:45 am to celebrate this milestone. We will provide donuts and coffee and look forward to seeing you there!

Lights, Camera, No Action Pilot Program

Applications Now Open

I am excited to announce the launch of the Lights, Camera, No Action Pilot Program, designed to enhance safety in our community with a rebate of up to $100 per address to purchase a camera and / or lighting. Applications are now open for 3rd District residents, businesses, nonprofits, and religious institutions. Through increasing effective lighting and security measures, we aim dissuade criminal activity and assist law enforcement.

25th Annual Team Spirit Long Beach Cancer 5K
