How the Global Wellness Institute is Highlighting Better Sleep Habits
Sleep and rest are crucial to our overall well-being. In fact, getting too little or even too much sleep can adversely affect our day-to-day physical health, energy levels, nutrition and mental well-being. In the recently published "The Global Wellness Economy: United States" report from the Global Wellness Institute (GWI), research illustrates that sleep is a major factor in mental wellness, and this newly tangible wellness evidence is driving an explosion in the development of new sensory products and services designed to aid in the promotion of sleep. Mark Your Calendar: Annual Picnic on September 9th
We will have our annual picnic at Lynch Park in Beverly on Saturday September 9th. Thanks to Gary and Helen Bert, they submitted an application to reserve time at the Park so we can meet there from 11am-2:30pm. They plan to bring drinks, snacks and some games everyone can play. Please plan on bringing your lunch and/or some snacks to share if you wish. There won't be a formal agenda, just a time for us to connect in-person. And this will take the place of our regularly scheduled support group meeting in September. For planning purposes, please RSVP to garybert10@gmail.com and rcjames@bu.edu.
