Scott County 2020 FAST-TRACK Challenge Winners Announced!

The Scott County FAST-TRACK Challenge is a free, annual business competition designed to fast-track start-up and first-stage businesses to success.

Euroworx European Automotive Specialist, based in New Prague, is the 2020 FAST-TRACK Challenge 1st place winner! The company will bring diagnostics right to your front door with a new level of automotive service that has never been tried before. Second place was presented to Fitness Boomers, LLC. Based in Shakopee, it is a one of a kind fitness, yoga and meditation program focused on building the younger generations to be emotionally and physically healthy. Third place honors went to IntelligentRx, also based in Shakopee. This digital healthcare startup has a service product designed to increase access to affordable prescriptions to all Americans.

The SBA's Office of Advocacy has updated its most requested publication, Frequently Asked Questions About Small Business, with the latest government statistics. Advocacy’s handy infographic, What’s New With Small Business, has also been updated with a dozen key small business facts. Updated annually, the FAQ and What’s New infographic are convenient places to find facts about U.S. small businesses and their contribution to the economy.
Need Help Paying For Housing?
The Scott County Board of Commissioners has allocated $2.95 million in federal CARES Act dollars for mortgage and rental support to Scott County residents who have experienced financial hardship due to COVID-19 to prevent foreclosures and evictions. The deadline to apply for both the rental assistance program and the mortgage assistance program is November 15, but eligible applicants are encouraged to apply early, as program funding is limited and may be subject to a first-come, first-served basis.
