Shakopee Chamber Blood Drive

Local nonprofit Memorial Blood Centers (MBC) is facing a shortage of blood and platelet donations. The need for blood is constant but, due to the pandemic, many drives were canceled or postponed. To replenish supplies for area hospitals, trauma centers, and air ambulance bases, more healthy donors are needed at blood drives.

The Shakopee Chamber and Visitors Bureau’s private sector members with 10 or fewer employees are eligible to receive a FREE membership in the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce!

The Minnesota Chamber’s semi-annual Statewide Policy Tour is your opportunity to discuss how actions at the Capitol impact your business. Enjoy a light breakfast trackside in Canterbury Park's Finish Line Cabanas, watch the horses train, and get an inside look into the world of horse racing from former jockey Mark Irving. This is also an opportunity to network with fellow Shakopee Chamber members as well as members from our neighbor, the Prior Lake Chamber. $20 for Chamber members, $25 for non-members.

Chamber Ambassador Pop-In Visits Are Back!

The Shakopee Chamber Ambassador Committee is responsible for promoting a professional atmosphere in which to establish business contacts. Ambassadors serve as greeters at Chamber functions, make welcome visits to new Chamber members, and encourage member participation through phone calls and personal contacts. They also help introduce new members to Chamber activities by serving as buddies during a new member's first year. In addition, they also do Pop-In visits at member businesses!
