Dear Shakopee Chamber Members,

As many of you may have already heard, the Shakopee Chamber and Visitors Bureau President, Angie Whitcomb, will be leaving the organization for a new and exciting opportunity with the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce. The Board of Directors has named me the Interim President of the organization beginning January 18, 2021.

I have been with the Shakopee Chamber and Visitors Bureau since 2014 working primarily on the Visitors Bureau side of the organization. I look forward to this transition and working on initiatives for both the Chamber and Visitors Bureau and continuing to be an advocate for the Shakopee business community.

After a difficult 2020 for most of us, I see 2021 as an opportunity for the Shakopee Chamber and Visitors Bureau to be a stronger voice for the Shakopee business community. We will continue to work on initiatives that strengthen our ability to be an advocate for not only your organization, but for the community and region. I am a strong believer in the idea that a rising tide lifts all ships, and we can all work together to accomplish this simple goal. We will always be your advocate, your voice, and your partner. I look forward to speaking with all of you, and I look forward to continue keeping Shakopee strong in 2021 and the future.
