Alma Hunt Offering for Virginia Missions

Since 1976, the annual Virginia Missions Offering—traditionally called the Alma Hunt Offering for Virginia Missions—is a joint venture of the Woman’s Missionary Union of Virginia (WMUV) and the Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV). 

We invite you to give to the Alma Hunt Offering —joining your gifts with those of many other Virginia Baptists as we work to share the love of Christ across the Commonwealth of Virginia and with the whole world.

Youth News!!!

October 9^th – we are looking to do a Guy’s Trip to go see the Panthers and 49ers play in Charlotte. Let me know by September 18^th if you’d like to go. Cost should be around $80-100 per person.

October 17^th – 6:30pm Ajay Pillai, Men’s Pastor at Thomas Road Baptist Church will be at here at church to speak for an FCA event!

October 20^th – we are going to Scaremare. Cost $12 per person. Address is 2300 Carroll Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24501.  We will meet there at 7:30pm. If you need a ride, let me know.

YOUNG ADULTS SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS (formerly Truth Seekers and College/Career Classes) is meeting at 9:30am. Kyle Cox, teacher.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH: Children’s Church (ages 3-3^rd grade) meets during Worship Service at 10:30am.  (Please send info slip with child).

CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL: Meeting downstairs in children's wing  Robin Monroe & Suzanne Coleman are the teachers for September.

NURSERY: located downstairs below sanctuary is available for children ages 3 years and under. (Please fill out info slip on each child).
