Prayer Ministry Meeting

The Prayer Ministry will be holding their monthly meeting on Sunday, January 11th at 1:30 pm, in the Sanctuary. The meeting is for all those currently involved. If you are interested in getting involved, please see Pastor Mario Alvarez.

Missions Ministry

We will be meeting on Sunday, January 18th, at 1:15 pm, in the Gym, to discuss Missions Ministry opportunities for the coming year, if the Lord is moving you in the “outreach direction” please show up. Please refer questions to Pastor Tony Scotti.

Nursery & Children's Ministries

Both the Nursery and Children’s Ministries will be having a potluck meeting on Sunday, January 25th at 2:00 pm in the Gymnasium. The meeting is mandatory for ALL those serving in both of these ministries, and those who would like to get involved. Marriage Ministry 2026

The Marriage Fellowship will begin another year of biblical instruction and fellowship on Saturday, January 24th, at 6:00 pm. The theme for 2026 is “The Spiritual Battle for Marriage.”  We are going to look at the struggle from the beginning, the on-going spiritual battle, and how we can fight the battle. For the month of January, we are screening the movie Fireproof. It is the story of Caleb Holt portrayed by Kirk Cameron, a heroic fire captain who values dedication and service to others above all else. But the most important partnership in his life, his marriage, is about to go up in smoke. The food theme for the evening is- Pizza and salad night. You are welcome to bring a pizza and salad to share with the other married couples before the movie. Childcare is not provided. We want this to be a special evening for just you and your spouse. Valentine's Banquet 2026

Join us for our annual Valentine’s banquet at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Monrovia, in the Madera Ballroom. This year’s banquet will be held on Saturday, February 14th at 6:00 pm. Our guest speakers will be Pastor Xavier Ries and his wife, Trudy Ries from Calvary Chapel Pasadena. Our musical guest will be The Gutierrez Brothers. The cost is $120.00 per couple, which includes a delicious dinner, a complimentary portrait of you and your guest, as well as door prizes throughout the evening. This is a wonderful evening and a great opportunity to proclaim the love of Jesus Christ. Tickets are available in the church office, or online. Don’t delay – tickets sell out fast.

Youth Winter Retreat – 'Fight The Good Fight'

"FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT" taken from 1 Timothy 6:12, is this year’s theme for the 2026 Youth Winter Retreat (7th-12th grade). The retreat will be held at Mile High Pines in the San Bernardino Mountains from Saturday, February 14th (Check-In at 7:00 am in the Gym) — Monday, February 16th (Returning at 1:00 pm).
