Desiree Kelly "Then & Now: A Retrospective of Portraits"
Join us on Noel Night as we welcome Detroit artist Desiree Kelly to the Detroit Public Library Galleria. The exhibit at the Galleria will span nearly a decade of artistic development--revealing her evolution of style and exploration of techniques. The show illustrates how she uniquely combines street art, traditional oil painting, collage, mixed media and graphic design to create powerful portraits that are both artistically and historically beautiful and revealing. The library is honored to host an historic art exhibit created by an historically significant native Detroit artist. Light refreshments and adult beverages will be served.
