⚠️ Stove Anti-Tip Bracket – Important Safety Notice

Your home is equipped with an anti-tip bracket for your stove. This bracket is designed to prevent the stove from tipping forward, which could cause serious injury or damage—especially when the oven door is open or heavy items are placed on it.

For your safety:

  • DO NOT remove, loosen, or alter the anti-tip bracket.
  • If your stove appears unsteady or not properly secured, please contact Maintenance for inspection or adjustment.

This small safety feature plays a big role in preventing accidents.

Thank you for helping us keep every home safe!

Pet Owner Reminder!

Having pets in WPAFB housing is a privilege, not a right. Pets that are disruptive or pose safety concerns may be required to be removed from the premises.

Keep pets leashed or secured, monitor backyards, and take responsibility for any escape-prone pets. Pets MUST be controlled indoors and outdoors, and excessive barking or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

Thanks for helping us make WPAFB housing a safe and happy home for everyone - two and four-legged alike (and your neighbors will appreciate it)!

🔧 Furnace Filters & Cold-Weather Prep

With the weather changing, it’s time to turn on the heat—let’s keep your system running safely and efficiently by changing your furnace filter every 30 days.

Fresh filters improve air quality, reduce strain on your system, and help lower energy costs.

Free supplies at the Self-Help Store include:

  • ✅ Furnace filters
  • 🔋 Batteries for smoke detectors and thermostats
  • 💡 Light bulbs
  • 🔧 Plus other common home-care items

If you’re unsure which filter size you need, check the label on your current filter or your furnace panel. You can take it with you for exchange or take a photo!

We also recommend writing the date the filter is changed on the side panel of the filter so you don't have to guess when it was last changed!

If your system isn’t heating properly after changing the filter, please contact Maintenance.

Thank you for helping keep our homes safe and comfortable!

Courtyard Sign Lighting Upgrades - Prairies Legacy

The lighting upgrade project is nearly complete!

While most of the work is complete, there are still a few signs left to finish. The contractor has indicated that the project should be fully wrapped up by the end of October.

For your safety, please continue to use caution when passing by the work areas near the courtyard signs.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we enhance your community!

🔒 Shed Lock Reminder – Legacy Project

As part of the Legacy Project, we kindly remind all residents that locks must be removed from sheds. We’ve had several instances where locks were left in place, which has required additional time and resources to have them removed.

To help keep the project on schedule and avoid unnecessary delays, please make sure any locks and all hanging personal items on your shed are promptly removed.

We truly appreciate your cooperation in making this process smooth for everyone!
