Turtle Island's Mardi Gras Wine Dinner Menu and Pairings

We are pleased to announce that we are returning home to Turtle Island where we held one of our very first wine dinners in 2008.  

Join us the evening before Fat Tuesday for a Cajun style menu paired with some wines from our newest distributor, Woody French of 3 Keys Distributing.

Tickets are now on sale for $50 pp* for the event that will be held on Monday, March 4 at 6 p.m.  

*Tickets must be purchased in advanced.  All sales are final.

We will announce the wines to be paired in a couple of weeks.  We received tentative samples but must delay the decision until we return from vacation.

FUN AND GAMES EVERY WEDNESDAY FROM 1-5 

We are trying something new and fun at The Grape & Ale this winter.  Beginning, Wednesday, January 9 from 1-5 p.m. we will be playing and teaching the game "Hand and Foot".  Hand and Foot is a form of Canasta and the rules vary from group to group.  We will be playing using the "Official Grape & Ale Rules"  

If you would like to join us and learn to play, we will have a few seasoned players on hand to coach you.  You may also pick up a copy of the rules anytime at The Grape & Ale  beginning Thursday, January 3.  

Disclosure - we play for fun, not money.
Winter Hours

Happy New Year everyone.  We have changed our winter hours until the bridge opens up.  Whenever that happens, we will return to our normal hours.  Until that time, our hours will be as follows:

Sunday and Monday - CLOSED
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday - 11-6
Thursday - 11-7
Friday - 11-8

ATTENTION:  DELIVERING TO SOUTHPORT AND ST. JAMES EVERY WEDNESDAY, BUT NOT THIS WEEK (WE ARE OUT OF TOWN...DELIVERIES RESUME FEBRUARY 13)

Due to the bridge closure, we are initiating a new delivery option to Southport and St. James every Wednesday.  Simply give us a call at 910-933-4384 and place your orders.  This service also includes soup orders from Sreat Side Take Out for consumers on Oak Island.  Soup orders need to be placed by Monday at 6 pm.

2019 Wine and Proses Book Club Picks 

While the location has changed to the South Harbor Village Clubhouse because the club outgrew our space, we still keep up with what the club is doing.

The Club began at The Grape & Ale right after we opened in 2008 and grew by leaps and bounds.  We are happy that many of the original members are still active in the club.  New members are always welcome.
