AUGUST MISSION: HABITAT FOR HUMANITY - OZAUKEE COUNTY
We are excited to partner with Habitat for Humanity Ozaukee, Inc. for this Mission of the Month. An existing home built a few years ago by HFHO is located just west of Sendik’s on Columbia Rd. in Grafton. There is room for two more homes on that site, which is where the 2019-2020 build is going to be. There will be many opportunities to volunteer during the build process, which will begin in late August or September 2019. can also visit www.ozhh.org . Above all, please keep this Mission of the Month in your prayers, asking the Lord’s blessing upon it. Please pray about our congregational involvement in the build, and your personal involvement as well. There will be a way for almost everyone to help, and this awesome opportunity is right on our doorstep!

Join us for outdoor worship over Labor Day Weekend. Please bring your own lawn chairs and dress to be outdoors. Refreshments will be provided!
STEPHEN MINISTRY MOMENT
“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” John 15:12 Stephen Ministry is grounded on Jesus’ command to love one another. Through one-to-one caring relationships, those who are hurting receive the love and care they need. Having someone care, listen, and share God’s love with you can help you get through the confusion, stress, or loneliness you may be experiencing. If this sounds like the kind of care for you, please call Pastor Reichmann at 377-6610. The care receiver does not need to be a member of First Immanuel or River of Life.

Since 1946 the Men’s Club Organization at First Immanuel Lutheran Ministries has served as stewards of the church, school and community.

This includes sponsoring major events such as the annual FILS youth basketball tournament, Men's Bible classes and ministries, the annual fall Beef Dinner as well as funding major capital improvement programs.

In 2000, the Men’s club initiated the 1st Charity Golf & Auction event to raise funds to replace the much needed gym floor. With GOD’s grace and the generous support of many in our family of faith and the local business community we were blessed in achieving this goal.

We are now celebrating our 19th annual charity golf outing and have raised over $200,000 in donations used to support the many charities both within and outside of First Immanuel Lutheran Ministries.

Please join us at this fun event as we continue to support our growing ministry here and around the world.
