BEGINS AT FIRST IMMANUEL MINISTRIES
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6TH
What it is: Red Letter Challenge (RLC)
is a 40-day project to get more intentional in how we live. It is designed to help us encounter Jesus in our every day and to “challenge” us to be more like Jesus. We will focus on
Being, Forgiving, Serving, Giving, and Going.
Jesus embraced these actions, and he is calling us to do the same.
Why we are doing RLC:
Lent is a natural time of self-reflection. Instead of giving something up this year, we are asking that you take something on. Take on a challenge to experience Jesus more fully in your life. Take the challenge to be Jesus to more people in your life. In our world, it is uncommon to challenge oneself to grow, but it is exactly what we need. We believe RLC is going to help people at First Immanuel and River of Life deepen their walk with Jesus.
How we are doing RLC:
There are going to be many ways to engage with Red Letter Challenge through First Immanuel and River of Life. All of our midweek and weekend sermons will focus on the topics covered in RLC. We will be providing daily reminders and materials through email and social media.

|
The book will be available to purchase after worship this weekend and during the week in the office.

“…and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.” Psalm 50:15 All of you, as First Immanuel and River of Life members, are a vital part of our Stephen Ministry. As such we invite your prayers that we are sensitive to those in our midst who carry heavy burdens, that we reach out to them in love and compassion, and that we encourage them to turn to our pastors and Stephen Ministry leaders to help them receive the care that they need. To find out if Stephen Ministry might be right for you or someone you know, please contact Pastor Reichmann at 377-6610. If you are referring someone else, please ask permission first.
