MISSION OF THE MONTH
Refuge House is a safe place that provides a loving, nurturing environment for women and their unborn children. Our Advocates encourage women to make the positive changes in their lives that will offer opportunity, direction and hope for their futures.

STEPHEN MINISTRY MOMENT
“…casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”       1 Peter 5:7 You have heard it time and time again: “Cheer up…Tough it out…Pull yourself together…It is not that bad.” Perhaps people have said it to you. Or perhaps you have said it to yourself. But it has not helped. You are still hurting. Things are coming apart rather than together. Here is the good news. You do not have to go through your struggles alone. Help is available. Our Stephen Ministers are trained caregivers who will walk with you, listen to you, and provide confidential, Christian, one-on-one care as you search through the pieces and find what is truly in your heart. To learn more about Stephen Ministry, talk to Pastor Reichmann at 377-6610. A care receiver need not be a member of First Immanuel or River of Life.
