Florida National Scenic Trail

Saturday, February 28

Everyone is invited to join St. Christopher's Creation Care Community (CCC) for a morning walk on a segment of the Florida National Scenic Trail in the Gulf Islands National Seashore, Fort Pickens Area. We'll walk from Battery Worth to the Fort and back. Facilities are available at both locations. Let’s meet in the parking lot on the right, on the sound side, just past the Palm Beach Club condos, where we can arrange carpools for anyone who needs a National Park pass. So that we know you are planning to join us, please text or call Ad Platt at 850-982-8480, Margaret Platt at 850-384-3345, or email Margaret at mag.platt22@gmail.com. Bring your binoculars, snacks, and water (there is a snack bar at the Fort). 

Manna Volunteers Needed

We are in need of Manna volunteers! We need food receivers and clean up crew. Please see the sign up sheet in the Parish Hall this Sunday. For more information or questions, please contact Guy Meredith.

Easter Day Yard Signs

This Sunday, we will have Easter Day yard signs available for pick up to place in your yard. These are new and will help advertise our Easter Day service times! Please sign one out, and be sure to return them after Easter to the church office.

Children's News

Come to Manna tonight! Soup, salad, bread and peanut butter & jelly bar for dinner at 5:30 pm. Programming begins at 6:00 pm.

Children's activities through Lent will include seasonal curriculum, including Stations of the Cross, practicing Lent at home, and rehearsing for the Easter Vigil. (After the time change, we will also visit the playground across the street.) Each Wednesday night, all children will meet back up with their families in the Parish Hall at the conclusion of programming to participate in New Zealand Night Prayer with the group. See you tonight!

VBS dates are June 1-5. Please save those dates on your family calendar. We will be sharing a Google enrollment form, and more info, after Easter.
