JUST Pensacola

Network Meeting

St. Christopher’s will have our Network Meeting on Sunday, March 2nd, after the 10:30 am service until 1:30 pm in the choir room. Snacks and light sandwiches will be provided! This meeting is where we lay the foundation for wielding our people power behind the solutions to the lack of affordable rental housing that the research team is developing. All network members are expected to attend, but anyone and everyone is welcome!! See you there!

Mark Your Calendars!

On your mark ... get set ... GO! Women's Retreat registration will be on Sunday, March 9 at 9:15 am in the church library and online via Sign-Up Genius. Look for more details in the March Lantern. Dates of the Women's Retreat are April 25-27.

Parish Fish Fry!

We're having a Fish Fry! Sunday, March 30th after the 10:30 am service, the Men's Group along with the Vestry will be providing fried fish and sides for a community meal.

If you are gifted in frying fish, have deep fryers, or would just like to help, please reach out to Father John+ at john@scpen.org.

Concert Committee

Volunteers Needed

Join Us in Keeping Christopher’s Concert Alive!

Thanks to the incredible dedication of our volunteers and sponsors, Christopher’s Concert has been a tremendous success—bringing visibility to St. Christopher’s and creating an unforgettable experience for our attendees.

However, as some of our long-time organizers step down, we need new volunteers to help continue this wonderful tradition!

The Concert Committee plays a vital role in making the event happen, handling tasks like:

🎵 Scheduling bands

💰 Securing sponsors

📊 Managing finances

📅 Coordinating logistics

If you’re passionate about live music, community events, or just want to lend a hand, we’d love to have you on board!

Children & Youth News

Children's Ministry

Tonight, at Wednesday Night Manna, we will be learning about our Lenten tradition of "burying the Alleluia." We'll find out why we bury it and when we'll see it again. Then, we'll have some free time to play outside, while the adults finish their study of Luke.

This Sunday, the 10:30 service will actually end outside with the burial of the Alleluia. I can't wait to see all our kiddos carrying the Alleluia out to the Memorial Garden. Our Godly Play story time begins at the same time, 10:00. Please try to get your kids there on time. Our amazing Godly Play volunteers thank you!

EYC

See you tonight for EYC! Meet for dinner in the Parish Hall at 5:30 pm. At 6:00 pm we will move to the Youth House to plan for Shrove Tuesday! Outdoor fun and fellowship will follow our planning session - bring your football! For information about upcoming events, contact Andie Trahan!
