Caravan
We are excited to announce the 69th annual Christmas Caravan, taking place on Friday, December 5th, and Saturday, December 6th. Mark your calendars now for this festive event! Both days will showcase the Arts and Crafts Show, the Bake Shop, the Country Market, and the always-popular Silent Auction. Food lovers can look forward to “Grillin’ on the Lawn,” featuring burgers, hot dogs, and more. Additionally, indoor concessions will offer delicious options such as chicken salad croissant sandwiches and other treats throughout both days.
The Arts and Crafts Show is quickly filling up, with only a few indoor spaces still available. Several spots remain on the covered porch, and there is plenty of room outside. Many of our favorite vendors from previous years are returning to participate. If you know someone interested in joining as a vendor, all necessary information and the application can be found on the church website at scpen.org.
We are currently seeking items for the Silent Auction. If you have something to contribute, or if you have connections with local businesses, please consider reaching out for donations. Gift certificates from restaurants and other service establishments are especially popular. Each year, our wine baskets are a highlight of the Silent Auction. There will be a large basket in the Parish Hall on Sundays for collecting wine donations for these baskets. All proceeds from the Silent Auction will benefit charities in our community.
We extend our thanks to everyone who has already volunteered to help with Caravan. If you would like to volunteer or have questions about the event, please contact Val Cole at 850-572-7742 or vacole@bellsouth.net, or Pat Fogg at 850-384-4800 or plfogg@aol.com. More information about Caravan will be shared soon. We have a table set up next to the Godly Play room in the nursery hallway for anyone wishing to bring in donations. For questions regarding donations, please contact Dwain Dillard at 850-530-2246 or ddil601@comcast.net.
