Celebrating our Renovated Tot Lot!

Cooper City marked an exciting milestone on Thursday, April 10, 2025, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the reopening of the newly renovated Tot Lot playground located behind the Community Center. The event brought together local families, City Commission members, and staff in celebration of a vibrant new space designed for play, community, and accessibility.

This project was developed with financial assistance provided by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection through the Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program.

Join Us at the Next Ribbon Cutting!

We are set to hold a ceremonial ribbon-cutting at the new playground on the grounds of Michael “City Mike” Riordan Park, formerly known as Flamingo Park, on April 30 starting at 5:30 PM.

The park is located at 5300 SW 122 Avenue. With a zipline, slides, and more – this playground will provide endless enjoyment. Let’s celebrate together with a ribbon cutting! Mark your calendar!
