City Commission Meeting

The City Commission will gather for a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, December 10 at City Hall starting at 6:30 PM. The meeting will be preceded by a Special Recognition Ceremony that will begin at 5:30 PM.

Taste of Cooper City

Taste of Cooper City brought the community together for an evening of delicious fun, featuring food and beverage vendors, lively entertainment, and an exciting opportunity for attendees to cast their votes for the best-tasting bite, most delicious drink, most delectable dessert, and best alternative option.

Field Maintenance & Closures

Field and dugout enhancements are in progress at the Suellen H. Fardelmann and Bill Lips Sports Complexes.

Reminder, multiple softball and baseball fields will be closed at the sports complexes through January 17, 2025.

Need a Passport Photo?

The City of Cooper City offers passport photos for a fee of $15. If you solely need a passport photo, no appointment is required. Passport photos are taken at City Hall located at 9090 SW 50 Place, Cooper City, FL 33328, Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Light Up Cooper City is December 6th!

We look forward to seeing you at Memorial Park, as we flip the switch and light up the night! You can also make your way through the holiday bazaar, watch community performances, and await Santa’s arrival before taking photos with him!

Limited parking will be available at City Hall and Cooper City Elementary School. Please utilize our free shuttle service providing pickup and drop-off at Pioneer Middle School and City Hall, between 6 PM and 10 PM.

Holiday Movie with a TWIST

Registration for Painting Starts November 20th

Bring family and friends to enjoy a Holiday Movie...WITH A TWIST! During the movie, participants will have the option to use their creativity and paint their favorite holiday canvas. Movie viewing is open for all if not interested in the painting portion.

Winners of the 2024 Home Decorating Contest will be announced.

Menorah Lighting on December 30th!

All are invited to join us as we celebrate the joy of Hanukkah with a Menorah Lighting in Memorial Park. Our Parks and Recreation Department will have activities for children, before and after the lighting ceremony. Light refreshments will also be provided.

Father Daughter Dance Coming in January

Join the Parks and Recreation Department for our annual Father Daughter Dance. Registration will open on December 11th for Cooper City residents only. The registration deadline will be January 3rd or until registration is full.

Step into a Fitness Routine

The Cooper City Fitness Center is located at the Pool and Tennis Center located at 11600 Stonebridge Parkway within the Rock Creek community. An individual annual gym membership starts at only $85.60 for seniors (age 62+). An individual annual membership for Cooper City residents, age 14-61, is $139.10.

Vacation Home Watch Program

Did you know the Broward Sheriff's Office Cooper City District has a free Home Watch Program?

With this program, a deputy will check your home regularly while you are away. An exterior check of your home will be conducted to make sure there have been no unlawful entries and that no other obvious problems have occurred outside of your home. To sign up for this FREE service, please sign up online.

My Safe Florida Home

The My Safe Florida Home Program offers eligible home owners the opportunity to make an application for a wind mitigation home inspection free of charge by the State.

Fingerprinting Services

The BSO Cooper City District is now providing complimentary fingerprinting services to Cooper City residents and business owners. Fingerprinting is available by appointment only on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to noon and Thursdays from noon to 3 p.m.

What to Do If 911 Does Not Answer:

If a Cooper City resident calls 911 and receives no answer, there's no need to panic. You can call the BSO Cooper City station directly at 954-435-2000. It's worth noting that Cooper City's BSO station is the only BSO district to have a staffed lobby 24/7, 365 days a year.
