Happy New Year!

Extended Hours Coming Soon!

Starting January 13, 2025

The City Clerk's Office and Utility Billing Customer Service will be operating with extended hours starting Monday, January 13th. New business hours will be 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.


This means additional hours to set up an appointment for passport services, which are available Monday through Thursday. Additionally, Utility Billing Customer Service will be open longer to serve residents and businesses.


These services are available in the main lobby at City Hall located at 9090 SW 50th Place, Cooper City, FL 33328.

Solid Waste Authority of Broward County Survey

The Solid Waste Authority of Broward County is asking Broward County residents to complete a brief survey about how they handle garbage and recycling at home. The feedback will help the Authority improve recycling programs and create a Solid Waste Management and Recycling Master Plan.


The survey is available in English, Spanish, and Creole until January 6th, 2024.

Vacation Home Watch

Cooper City BSO has just launched a NEW way to submit the Cooper City Vacation Home Watch requests to make it more convenient for residents!

 

Instead of residents coming to the station to complete a form, we have contracted with Frontline Public Safety Solutions in order to complete the entry in an online portal.

Florida Licensing on Wheels

Appointments are still available for FLOW’s next visit to Cooper City on January 21st at the Community Center from 10 AM to 2 PM.


Services include License and I.D. credentialing services, and renewal of vehicle registration. They also offer FLHSMV’s critical safety services such as emergency contact information registration and safety campaigns by the Florida Highway Patrol. However, no written or driving tests are given from mobile units.

Senior Lifestyle Expo

Join us for our Senior Lifestyle Expo on February 8 at 10 AM at Cooper City High School.


This annual event highlights resources and products that enrich the lifestyle of our community’s senior citizens. Several organizations and businesses will be in attendance to discuss their services. Food Safety Series Presented by Family and Consumer Sciences, UF/IFAS Extension of Broward County | January 10 Prevent Food Waste


Our food safety series educates about food safety and the importance of preventing foodborne illness, practicing the proper steps of handwashing and learning the principles of each of the four concepts to keep our food safe and our kitchen clean to avoid the spread of germs.

"9 TO 5" The Musical, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking, and even a little romantic!


Ticket prices include a show ticket, Too-Jays catered boxed lunch, and roundtrip transportation.

Step into the New Year with a Fitness Routine


The Cooper City Fitness Center is located at the Pool and Tennis Center located at 11600 Stonebridge Parkway within the Rock Creek community. An individual annual gym membership starts at only $85.60 for seniors (age 62+). An individual annual membership for Cooper City residents, age 14-61, is $139.10.

Vacation Home Watch Program


Did you know the Broward Sheriff's Office Cooper City District has a free Home Watch Program?


With this program, a deputy will check your home regularly while you are away. An exterior check of your home will be conducted to make sure there have been no unlawful entries and that no other obvious problems have occurred outside of your home. To sign up for this FREE service, please sign up online.

My Safe Florida Home


The My Safe Florida Home Program offers eligible home owners the opportunity to make an application for a wind mitigation home inspection free of charge by the State.

Fingerprinting Services


The BSO Cooper City District is now providing complimentary fingerprinting services to Cooper City residents and business owners. Fingerprinting is available by appointment only on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to noon and Thursdays from noon to 3 p.m.


Passport Appointments


Passport appointments every 15 minutes at City Hall.

What to Do If 911 Does Not Answer:


If a Cooper City resident calls 911 and receives no answer, there's no need to panic. You can call the BSO Cooper City station directly at 954-435-2000. It's worth noting that Cooper City's BSO station is the only BSO district to have a staffed lobby 24/7, 365 days a year.
