Upcoming City Commission Meeting

The City Commission will hold a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, May 13 starting at 6:30 PM at City Hall located at 9090 SW 50 Place.

New on the Commission Calendar

Meeting with HOAs & CDD

Cooper City staff will be engaging with Homeowners Association presidents/leadership and Community Development District (CDD) leadership at City Hall on Monday, May 19 at 5:30 PM. Members of the community are invited to listen to the discussion and provide input or feedback.

National Hurricane Preparedness Week

It's National Hurricane Preparedness Week and one of the biggest steps in preparing for the upcoming storm season is making sure you can receive Cooper City's emergency notifications. These are alerts specifically for Cooper City residents and business owners. Signing up is easy.

Progress Reports

Road Improvement Project

Milling and resurfacing, within the Rock Creek community, is well underway. The road work has been heavily focused along Bridge Road to this point.


This project will touch multiple roadways within Rock Creek and a section of SE Lake Boulevard/Robert Becker Boulevard.

Water Meter Replacement Project Update

Water meter replacements are now occurring within the Embassy Lakes community. Please note, the contractor will place a door hanger at all properties prior to commencing the replacement. There is a temporary disruption to water service, of approximately 15 to 30 minutes, while the work takes place.

Registration is now open for our Father’s Day Fishing Derby, which will be held at the Pool and Tennis Center on Saturday, June 7th. You can register online or visit the Community Center or Pool and Tennis Center.

Children ages 3-5 years learn water safety, survival skills and foundational swimming concepts in a safe and fun environment. Skills are age-appropriate, allowing students to achieve success on a regular basis.

“SPLASH” is a non competitive swim program that focuses on the development of swim strokes, turns and dives and more. Our trained coaches work to improve swimmer’s skill level, endurance and to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Cooper City Cyclones Swim Team


Cooper City Cyclones is a year round full-service competitive swim team. The Cyclones provide the highest level of professional instruction for all ages and skill levels. Cyclones are proud members of USA Swimming and its local governing body, Florida Gold Coast. Through quality instruction, the competitive swim team excels at developing young athletes in reaching their utmost potential.

Vacation Home Watch Program


Did you know the Broward Sheriff's Office Cooper City District has a free Home Watch Program?


With this program, a deputy will check your home regularly while you are away. An exterior check of your home will be conducted to make sure there have been no unlawful entries and that no other obvious problems have occurred outside of your home. To sign up for this FREE service, please sign up online.

My Safe Florida Home


The My Safe Florida Home Program offers eligible home owners the opportunity to make an application for a wind mitigation home inspection free of charge by the State.

Fingerprinting Services


The BSO Cooper City District is now providing complimentary fingerprinting services to Cooper City residents and business owners. Fingerprinting is available by appointment only on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to noon and Thursdays from noon to 3 p.m.

Passport appointments every 15 minutes at City Hall.

What to Do If 911 Does Not Answer:


If a Cooper City resident calls 911 and receives no answer, there's no need to panic. You can call the BSO Cooper City station directly at 954-435-2000. It's worth noting that Cooper City's BSO station is the only BSO district to have a staffed lobby 24/7, 365 days a year.
