Ramadan Mubarak

This past weekend, the new crescent moon marked the start of the holy month of Ramadan. This is a time of deep reflection, devotion, and spiritual renewal for our Muslim community. This sacred month is observed through fasting, prayer, and acts of kindness.

Ramadan’s teachings of self-discipline, generosity, and empathy resonate beyond faith, inspiring unity and understanding among all communities.

To our Muslim friends and neighbors, we send our warmest wishes for a peaceful and meaningful Ramadan filled with blessings, strength, and joy.

Our Fitness Center at the Pool and Tennis Center offers multiple ways to improve your fitness journey and this month we are spotlighting Dalia Kibby and Evelyn Sasnett, twins who have become regulars at our gym.

How long have you been members of the Fitness Center?

  • Dalia has been a member for more than 15 years and Evelyn joined last November after moving back to South Florida.

What are your fitness goals?

  • Dalia’s goal is to remain healthy and independent as long as possible and Evelyn shared that maintaining good health is her goal by maintaining weight control, flexibility, muscle and bone strengthening, and a toned body.

What advice would you give to someone just starting their fitness journey?

  • Evelyn and Dalia say to stay patient and consistent with your routine. Results will come, so don’t think about it, just do it.

What is it that you like best about coming to our facility?

  • Evelyn likes the quality and variety of equipment, while Dalia shared the good karma in the building and the nice people.

If you could work out with a celebrity or athlete, who would it be?

  • Evelyn said either Jennifer Lopez or Jennifer Aniston. Dalia shared that she would work out with Roseann Barr, because she is outrageous and unpredictable.
