Mark your calendars for September 16, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Cooper City BSO District Station (10580 Stirling Rd) for an exceptional opportunity. Join us for the Cooper City BSO Chip-A-Pet event, where you can avail yourself of complimentary pet microchipping, rabies vaccines*, and county licenses. Don't miss out on this chance to ensure the safety and well-being of your furry friend. The event will also feature CPR for dogs demonstrations, caricature drawings for your pets, dog ice cream, exciting giveaways, and more! For inquiries, feel free to reach out to [email protected].

September 11 Remembrance Ceremony 
The Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps students, (N.J.R.O.T.C.) led & supported by Principal, Vera Perkovic, Commander, Jose Testa and Petty Officer, James Sloan honored those who perished in the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001 during the ceremony on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Cooper City High School.
31st Annual Tree and Plant Care Workshop
"Back to Basics" was the theme for this year's tree and plant care workshop! It was extremely informative and all residents in attendance appreciated the speakers for the education into the world of plant care & recycling.

Cooper City Residents are Eligible for Flood Insurance Discount
Cooper City is proud to announce that we've been working hard to make sure our community is protected against flooding and our efforts have paid off! We've recently implemented projects and policies to keep our Class 6 rating from the Federal Emergency Management Agency's National Flood Insurance Program which translates to a 20% discount on flood insurance premiums for our residents.

Cooper City active adults are invited to join a wide variety of activities, classes and programs. Some programs have changed. Click here for a list of programs available. The Cooper City Fitness Center is located at the Pool and Tennis Center. Explore your health insurance for membership benefits. An individual annual gym membership starts at only $85.60 for seniors (age 62+). An individual annual membership for Cooper City residents, age 14-61, is $139.10.

In the event a Cooper City resident calls 911 and there is no answer, Cooper City residents can call the BSO Cooper City station directly by dialing 954-435-2000. Cooper City's BSO station is the only BSO district to staff a lobby 24/7, 365 days a year.

SCAM ALERT - DO NOT OPEN OR SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
There have been reports of fraudulent text messages being sent to Floridians asking for driver license details. The text messages lead to a phony/fraudulent webpage that requests Social Security and driver license information. DO NOT share your personal information.

Cooper City Explorer Program

Our Cooper City BSO District is looking for teenagers interested in a career in law enforcement or criminal justice. If your child in considering a career in public safety, this program may be the perfect fit.

BSO Cares Program, Registry for People with Developmental Disorders

This registry is part of a free community service program that will allow our emergency personnel to respond to and serve our community with disabilities better when our help is needed. Participation is voluntary. To register for Care Program
