What a great week of VBS! The best part: 10 children accepted Jesus as Savior! Thanks be to God! We had over 500 children and volunteers participate. So many people deserve thanks – thank you for sharing the love of Jesus!

We had such a positive spirit at our Town Hall Meeting Sunday night. Many good questions were asked, great discussion had, and a commitment to pray. When we divided into groups and asked people to express their opinion about options for the Pocalla Campus, across the board, we heard, “Move ahead!” Pray for God’s leadership and guidance.

The Gear Up For Learning Backpack Drive for Sumter United Ministries will be coming to a close at the end of July. Please consider donating a new backpack or a few to this great project that helps underprivileged kids in our community have a good start to the school year. Bags must be new - drop off at the Missions Cafe at your campus.

Come find our what it means to make ADBC your church home! We have a class called Starting Point that gives you an opportunity to hear about the mission, vision, and values of Alice Drive Baptist Church. You will get to meet staff and we will get to meet you! *Please note: this class is required for membership.* We'll have a Drop-In on August 1, 9-11:30 AM, in the mezzanine at Loring Mill.

Celebrate Recovery had 16 attend this week! Men’s and women's groups are happening again as well. And, on August 10, Jim Sonefeld from Hootie and The Blowfish will be the special guest speaker giving his testimony!

Preschool Story Time was another hit, with 32 kids and 20 parents (dads included!). We also had MOMS Sumter leadership here, so those mamas who came to PST had the opportunity to sign up for the new season of MOMS.

Interested in serving with First Impressions for the new 2021-2022 year? We're throwing a Kickoff Fiesta for each campus on August 1 - details for each campus are on the Upcoming Events page on our website!

Loring Mill will have a Family Field Day on August 11, 6-7:30 PM, in the field by The Venue. Let's have some family fun and a little friendly competition! This is an event for the WHOLE family. Join us for a time to enjoy community, eat great food, and play family games. We can't wait to see you there!
