Metro Thanks Venice, Plans Outreach Visit
Metro would like to thank the Venice Neighborhood Council for inviting us to its February meeting; and allowing us the opportunity to make a presentation regarding our immediate plans for Division 6 on Main Street.  As you may know by now, Metro stopped operating busses out of Division 6 in late 2015.  In a succeeding Board Action, the Metro Board designated the land to be developed consistent with the agency's Joint Development Policy. Before the Joint Development process may begin, Metro must complete environmental testing on the site.  Results of this testing will determine the next environmental-related steps. We plan to come back to the Neighborhood Council in May and provide an update of our activities.  In the interim, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact Eric Geier at (213) 922-4229 or

THIS JUST IN:  Metro representatives will be at Venice Farmers Market on Friday, March 25, to discuss plans for the former bus yard located between Main and Pacific near Sunset.
