National Caregiver Day was recognized on April 6th, and we at Ensemble want to acknowledge all caregivers and let you know that we are here for you!
Caregiving can include caring for aging parents, ill partners, young children at home, as well as caring for someone with an intellectual disability. It is refreshing to see the often unnoticed work done by caregivers being recognized.
This past year the COVID-19 pandemic has really brought caregiving to the forefront, highlighting just how many Canadians care for a loved one in their life. Hopefully, with the wider recognition of caregiving, we will see more supports for caregivers as well. We are truly all in this together.
