Connecting Over Shared Fitness Goals
Derek and Stephen have been friends for years but the COVID-19 pandemic made it challenging for them to connect. They both enjoy staying active and working on their fitness.
In the fall of 2022, they made a plan to work on their fitness goals together. Derek and Stephen try to meet up twice a month to walk and catch up. Sometimes Stephen's dog, Laddie, even joins in! They often visit Sadler's Pond for a trail walk, as it is local, conveniently located and a beautiful atmosphere. They have walked on sunny days, rainy days, and snowy days. When weather gets in their way, they take their goals to indoor tracks and "get their walk on" together.
Fitness is always more fun when you have someone by your side. Keep it up Stephen and Derek!
