May is Community Living Month in Ontario!
Help Us Celebrate!
|
|
May is Community Living Month in Ontario! Community Living Month is a province-wide annual awareness campaign to promote true inclusion for people who have an intellectual disability and their families.
On May 6th landmarks across the province are lighting up blue and green to #ShineALight on Community Living! As we have done in past years, we are teaming up with several local businesses in Essex County to light up their locations in blue and green lights on Friday, May 6th.
On May 16th be sure to wear your blue and green! Throughout the entire month we're encouraging everyone to participate in their own way! You can decorate your house or workplace in blue and green, bake blue and green cookies or display green and blue balloons outside! Send your photos to Natalie at nkristy@communitylivingessex.org and we will share them on our social media channels and here in the Possibilities newsletter.
