Essex Fun Fest Sip 'n Shop Mixer
Get your tickets now for the Essex Fun Fest Sip 'n Shop Mixer - a fun, social evening supporting Community Living Essex County, EPIC Wineries, and local businesses. Thursday, July 7th from 7:30 pm - 11:30 pm, come out and sample some wine, do a little shopping, and support a great cause. The Essex Fun Fest will donate $10 of every $30 ticket sold to Community Living Essex County! 

Tickets purchased in advance are $30 and include: admission, souvenir branded wine tumbler for the first 500 through the gates, 3 wine samplings, 1 glass of wine, light food, live entertainment, and a chance to win numerous door prizes to be drawn throughout the evening.

The Essex Fun Fest has lined up several Essex Centre businesses who will be participating vendors, as well as 6 EPIC wineries, including Coopers Hawk Vineyards, Vin Estate Winery, Oxley Estate Winery, Viewpointe Estate Wineries, Colchester Ridge Estate Winery, and Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery.
Volunteers Needed for
30th Annual Golf Tournament
We're looking for volunteers to help out at our Charity Golf Classic, next Thursday, July 14th.
 
Spend a fun day with us at Sutton Creek Golf Club volunteering in one of the following areas:

  • Golf hole spotters from 11am to 3pm. Enjoy the beautiful scenery, say hello to the golfers, and watch for a hole in one or closest to the pin. Chairs will be provided. 
  • Help with our putting contest and golfer registration

All volunteers will receive a complimentary lunch and dinner.

Join us on Thursday, July 14th as we return to the links and celebrate our 30th Annual Charity Golf Classic at one of Essex County’s finest golf courses, Sutton Creek Golf Club in Essex. For the past 29 years, Community Living Essex County has played host to our annual Charity Golf Classic. All proceeds from the Community Living Essex County Charity Golf Classic are directed towards supports and services available to more than 700 people with an intellectual disability and their families throughout Essex County.

Survey - CAMH Wants to Help Make Government Communications Easier to Understand
If you have a developmental disability, work in the developmental sector, or are a family caregiver, complete the below survey to help the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) understand how to communicate government information so everyone can understand it.
The survey is available in English, French, and Inuktitut. You can fill the survey out online, on paper, or by telephone.  All respondents are eligible to enter a raffle for a prize. For more information, contact CAMH at AIIDD@camh.ca or 437-328-6761.
